Hola! happy new day! :)…today, I really want us to talk about music…and by the way,my bookish-smartish brother once told me,can’t remember the exact words but it went something like ‘you don’t have the biggest affinity to listening to music’, and that statement happened cos I kept on changing songs on my music list,pshh. And again,sorry for the diversion, my ‘pretty-twinnie-sister’ said she doesn’t like the name ‘pretty-twinnie’,so I’ll just leave it as sister,fair right?

Alright,back to the main purpose of writing this – music! You know, life would be really door matted if we had no music involved. Music is an art, creatively created to suit the yearnings of the human soul (ok, I don’t know where that came from,but you get the point right?)…personally, I like a number of music genres but what we all should take note of is that what we listen to has a great way of influencing us, consciously or even through our subconscious so even in our ‘musical pursuits’, we have to exercise a degree of caution.

Quick chip…i tried googling on Nigerian music and all I saw was a bunch of things-I-wasn’t-so-interested-in, I mean where’s our old music culture? I know, this is a new generation and all that but yet, lets make and sing songs that matches our values and heritage…thanks to all who still hold up these ethics,you are instilling priceless treasures into our younger generation. Be careful what you listen to…let your music preference show who you are!
