I’ve been loved like the stars, compared to the heavens, idyllic, picturesque, the stuff of dreams and movies…somewhat unbelievable and lofty.

And I’ve been loved like the green that grows from the earth, a gradual exploration of being through time, practical, grounded…very believable and sure.

I’d asked for practicality from the one who loved me like the stars and I’d asked for loftiness from the one who loved me like the green of the earth.

Insatiable heart of mine you’d say and I do not know which is better but I think love should take you to the moon and back, through galaxies and then to a place where you can feel the warm earth beneath your feet.
