Lets make it more than just a movement…

Please is anybody really listening, our we’re just saying this with just a degree of morality or necessity, like oh well bring back our girls… I’m writing this with pain and hurt cos it seems no one is listening! What really is this all about? True, its been proliferated, wide-spread,its gone far and wide even to the white house..and this is just another piece out of many that had been written for this course…but what have we gotten?…nothing! This is more than sad,its pathetic, a major part of our future had been stolen and we…we let it be. I don’t blame anyone for this, what’s the point…I only want us not to give up…please let this be more than a movement, let it be more than just something you follow on twitter, let it be more than the jokes we make out of it it and let’s make it our concern, lets make it our prayer…

And to all the Nigerians and other nations out there…thank you for your support, the propaganda, the protests…though it seems nothing is working out, it probably wouldn’t anymore…but lets do this for our future, lets do this so that it never occurs anymore. Stand up for education, reach out to those who have no hope…we don’t know what has become of our girls but one thing I know is…we have a certain power to bring an end to this…

Don’t stop praying for them, even if we can’t see them anymore we know to whom we’ve given them up too…remember it could have been me,or you, don’t let it be the turn of someone you ‘know’ before we feel anything…and please this was not drafted just to make us feel sentimental,we’ve had too much of that! One thing I believe is that we can have the change we want if WE ALL speak out and stand up for what’s right (not only as regards the abduction)… do #bringbackourgirls, and our pride and our nation…#bringbacknigeria #bringanendtoeveryevilthinginnigeria (ok that’s really long 🙂 )…

This is our country, this is our heritage, this is Nigeria!

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!…

Saddening really that we haven’t gotten these girls back and saddening also that Boko Haram has been resorting to using children for their suicide attacks. You also have to wonder: if we get these girls back, what structures do we have in place to ensure their proper rehabilitation into society?

you know, i never really thought about that and how true and barely undiscussed it is – do we have in place a structure or structures to ensure their proper rehabilitation into society if and when our hopes and anticipation that they do get back comes true? its saddening as you say and i can almost say that no structure is in place given the way the issue of their abduction is being handled by our ‘loyal’ government. Again what are we doing to prevent a re occurence and to end this menance of a sect called Boko Haram? Its saddening also that we have no answers we can hold on to as regards these…
