I see through the hollows and crevices on your face
I see through you
I’m mystic.
You smile, I don’t
You smile because you don’t see her
You don’t see the haunting darkness looming all over you
She creeps through you like a spirit revisiting a body
Spreading her mist
Trying to sit
Slowly she consumes you
And you become like her
Haunting darkness
Nothing but a mere shadow
I turn to look into your face
For the last time
All I see is her
And what she’s made of you
Depths and depths of shadows
Slowly, seamlessly, disappearing into a mist.
