I am writing this and I’m not sure I can finish; it’s basically how I’ve felt with writing for the past few (many) months. A lot of things have happened (as is the way of life) many worthy of being written about. Many times, I’ve had flickers of ideas that I can potentially develop and make something out of but I don’t and we all know how ideas are, how they fly away…sadly.

I have learned however how we as humans have to be deliberate about things, how we can with sheer resolve and determination decide to let a thing continue or not. And that is what I’m doing now, building on my sheer resolve to get back to writing again. I do not know why exactly I stopped but I suspect it was a major period of disillusionment with things.

There is so much to do

So much that can be done

But we must be willing to try, nothing gets done if we don’t.

Hello, it’s been a long time here. I understand how it feels like to be unable to write, to write only in one’s head and never put pen to paper. It’s not the best of feelings but there is a funny satisfaction that comes to stay once one stays in that period for long: it’s not a good kind of satisfaction. Waiting for you to get your vibe back…

      Hi Michael 🙂
yes, the writer should to be cautious, it’s all good until that satisfaction starts to feel like an unhealthy condition.

      Thank you Michael ♡

Hehe . . .you finally posted! I’m really thrilled you did.
I think ‘disillusionment’ is very apt, except it doesn’t have ‘fear’ in its definition. You guys are perhaps lucky—There is no ‘satisfaction’ in my own case. I think for me it’s a rancid kind of fear, one that only worsens over time. The more one stays away, the more it seems the next thing one writes would between the range of shit – to – bullshit. And shitty is never a good feeling.
I’ve missed your write-ups. There is a scarcity of bare sincere articles these days. You keep writing.

      😁 thank you Praise
Hm that’s an interesting feeling… I might not have exactly felt fear but I do know that shitty writing feeling. I guess what’s important is doing our best to work things out and ‘fight’ the feeling, however it comes
